Giant Pine Scale
Giant Pine Scale, a pest of pine, spruce and fir trees has recently been recorded in Australia for the first time in metropolitan Melbourne and in Adelaide. Plant Biosecurity have requested that Tasmanian private forest owners keep an eye on their pine plantations and shelter belts for this pest.

* Emailing photos of the suspected pest, together with a contact phone number and the pests location, to plant.biosecurity@dpipwe.tas.gov.au
